    Lion's Mane Mushroom Extract

Serving Amount: 400 mg (1:1 Extract, Beta glucan minimum: 25%)

Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus) is a mushroom that is popularly used in Chinese medicine with neuroprotective qualities, promoting nerve growth and synaptic plasticity. It has been shown to have a number of benefits—reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, protecting against cancer, and improving memory. The mushroom also has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, improving immune system function and overall health.

    Uridine Monophosphate

Serving Amount: 300 mg (disodium salt)

Uridine is a component of RNA and plays an integral role in central nervous system function. When combined with DHA, an omega-3 fatty acid that is essential for the development of the brain, and a choline source such as Alpha-GPC, the combination can stimulate the growth of synapses formed in the brain, called neurogenesis. Neurogenesis has been linked with improved cognitive function, particularly in learning and memory.

    BaCognize® Bacopa monnieri

    Serving Amount: 250mg

Bacopa monnieri is an extensively studied ayurvedic herb that has been shown to have a wide range of benefits such as improving memory, mood, and learning in individuals. The primary way it works is through protecting the brain from free radicals and increasing levels of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, as well as GABA and serotonin in smaller amounts. It also can reduce anxiety levels by reducing cortisol, promoting cognition especially in stressful situations. We use the standardized extract version, BaCognize®, which has shown efficacy through a randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial.

    Alpha-GPC

Serving Amount: 200 mg (L-Alpha glycerylphosphorylcholine)

Alpha-GPC is one of the most bioavailable cholinergic compounds, crossing the blood brain barrier more easily than other forms of Choline. Choline, a nutrient found in common foods such as fish and eggs, is essential for function of the acetylcholine neurotransmitter, which improves memory, prevents cognitive decline, enhances neuron communication, and increases muscle control.

    Pycnogenol® (Pine Bark Extract)

Serving Amount: 100mg (std. to 95% proanthocyanidins)

Pycnogenol® is a standardized extract of French martime pine bark which has been shown to promote blood flow to the brain and have potent antioxidant activity, reducing oxidative stress and inflammation in the brain. In a clinical study, the users who took Pycnogenol® had improved working memory compared to placebo. There is also emerging evidence that Pycnogenol® could be used in treating ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder).

    BioPerine®

    Serving Amount: 10 mg

We added BioPerine® black pepper extract for enhanced absorption of Pycnogenol®.

    Huperzine-A

Serving Amount: 80 mcg (huperzia serrata leaf extract)

Huperzine-A, which is found naturally in Chinese club moss prevents the breakdown of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine in the brain, resulting in a subsequent increase in acetylcholine. It is currently undergoing preliminary trials for fighting Alzheimer's and has been shown to improve cognitive functions such as memory retention and learning. There is also anecdotal evidence that taking huperzine-A increases REM sleep, which may induce lucid dreaming.
